dc.description.abstract | Industrial implementation of photocatalytic processes requires a photoreactor; a device which can effectively bring both photons and reactants into contact with the photocatalyst, as well as being able to collect the reaction products. Average values of the photonic efficiency obtained with the various combinations of photocatalysts and photoreactors under study were examined for the aim of easily comparing the experimental results. In this work, a comparison of different types of photoreactor configurations (pan, spiral, flat and tubular), also comparison of three types of TiO2 photocatalysts as slurry and pellet form were completed. The data from the experiments of this work were analyzed using the kinetic technique, which produced a mathematical expression to compute the kinetic parameter k3. | en_US |
